Watch: The 1.5 km tunnel that 'El Chapo' used for his spectacular escape from prison

If just reading about Mexican drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman’s prison escape through a 1.5 km tunnel had you wondering how he did it, now there is a video to fuel your imagination further. AP[/caption] The visuals depicting the already incredible story give a perspective on how spectacular the escape really was. Guzman is said to have dropped a ladder into a hole 30 feet deep that connected with a tunnel about 5 feet-6 inches high that was fully ventilated and had lighting. Authorities also found tools, oxygen tanks and a motorcycle adapted to run on rails. They believe that the motorcycle was used to carry dirt out and tools in during the construction, and apparently, to provide El Chapo a joy ride to his freedom. El Chapo remains at large as a massive manhunt for him continues.
