The US administration led by President Joe Biden has notified Congress that it intends to transfer $320 million worth of precision bombs to Israel. This information was provided on Monday. According to the Wall Street Journal, the transfer of Spice Family Gliding Bomb Assemblies, a kind of precision guided weapon fired by warplanes, was scheduled to take place on October 31. The Wall Street Journal reported that Rafael USA, a weapons manufacturer, would send the bombs to its Israeli parent company Rafael Advanced Defence Systems so that the Israeli defence ministry could use them, citing correspondence it had seen. The United Nations said earlier on Monday that Gaza is turning into a “graveyard for children,” and heightened calls for a ceasefire as Palestinian health officials claimed that the number of people killed by Israeli strikes had surpassed 10,000.
