The US military on Monday reported that a strike targeting an alleged drug-smuggling vessel in the Eastern Pacific resulted in two deaths, raising the total number of people killed in Washington’s campaign in the region to at least 107.
Strike on suspected narco-trafficking route
In a post on X, US Southern Command said “intelligence confirmed the vessel was transiting along known narco-trafficking routes in the Eastern Pacific and was engaged in narco-trafficking operations,” adding that two men were killed.
