US hits another Houthi anti-ship missile

U.S. Central Command forces on Saturday conducted strikes on a Houthi anti-ship missile that was targeted for launch into the Gulf of Aden, the U.S. military said. This action followed a series of strikes just hours earlier, during which the United States targeted three other Houthi anti-ship missiles. “U.S. forces determined the missile presented a threat to merchant vessels and U.S. Navy ships in the region, and subsequently struck and destroyed the missile in self-defense,” the U.S. Central Command said in a statement on X. The Houthis, who control most of Yemen, say their attacks are in solidarity with Palestinians under attack from Israel in Gaza.
