US Defence Secretary Chuck Hagel meets Sushma, to meet Modi later today

US Secretary of Defence Chuck Hagel met External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Friday morning before she leaves on a visit to Myanmar. Courtesy: ANI/Twitter[/caption] Hagel arrived in New Delhi on Thursday night on a three-day visit. He is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi later in the day. Hagel will hold talks to strengthen military ties between the two countries and to reach out to the new government in New Delhi. Hagel will also meet Defence Minister Arun Jaitley and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval during the course of his three-day visit. Hagel will also meet chairman of the Chiefs of Staff Committee, Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha.
