In the early US presidential election results, Republican candidate Donald Trump is ahead of Democratic candidate Kamala Harris.

As per the calls by CNN, Trump has won 99 Electoral College votes in the race to reach the 270-mark.

By 8:15 pm ET (Nov. 5), CNN has called Oklahoma (8 Electoral College votes), Missouri (10 votes), Indiana (11), Kentucky (8), Tennessee (11), Alabama (9), Florida (30), South Carolina (9) and West Virgina (4) for Trump.

For Harris, CNN has so far called Vermont (3 Electoral College votes), Massachusetts (11), Maryland (10), and Washington DC (3) for Harris.

As things stand, Trump leads the race to the 270-mark with 90-27.

The election results so far are along expected lines as races have been called for Trump in Republican strongholds in southern United States whereas Harris has been projected to win in Democratic East Coast states.
