US President Donald Trump once again delivered a controversial Christmas message, targeting what he described as ‘ radical left ’. The American leader used his Christmas message on social media to laud strong economic and security gains under his administration. However, he also used the occasion to sharply slam his political opponents in a mixed holiday greeting.

On Wednesday night, Trump took to his social media platform TruthSocial to share his Christmas wishes. “Merry Christmas to all, including the Radical Left Scum that is doing everything possible to destroy our Country, but are failing badly. We no longer have Open Borders, Men in Women’s Sports, Transgender for Everyone, or Weak Law Enforcement,” the American leader wrote in the post.

“What we do have is a Record Stock Market and 401K’s, Lowest Crime numbers in decades, No Inflation, and yesterday, a 4.3 GDP, two points better than expected. Tariffs have given us Trillions of Dollars in Growth and Prosperity, and the strongest National Security we have ever had. We are respected again, perhaps like never before. God Bless America!!! President DJT,” he added.

Trump pledges to guard the US from ‘bad Santa’

The American leader spent part of Christmas Eve chatting with children, who shared their Christmas wishlists. He and First Lady Melania Trump also updated families about Santa Claus’ whereabouts and reminded one child who wavered on leaving out cookies that the big guy has a “serious appetite.”

The president and first lady were at Mar-a-Lago for the holidays, where they fielded calls that were routed through the North American Aerospace Defence Command, whose annual Santa-tracking hotline received nearly 400,000 calls last year, CBS News reported.

It is pertinent to note that NORAD also runs an online service that logs Santa’s route across the globe. When asked by one 10-year-old from Oklahoma how NORAD keeps track of St. Nick, the president said, “We track Santa all over the world. We want to make sure that Santa is being good.”

“We want to make sure that he’s not infiltrated, that we’re not infiltrating our country with a bad Santa. So we found out that Santa is good,” he added. Meanwhile, the child’s 4-year-old sister told the president that she wants a dollhouse for Christmas. Trump replied that she’ll get what she’s looking for, telling her mother, “I think we can work that out.” “We owe a lot to Santa, so I think Santa will fulfil your wish,” he said.
