In his efforts to go all out for former US President Donald Trump, Tesla CEO Elon Musk pledged to pay up to $1 million per day to Pennsylvania voters who sign his America PAC petition leading up to the 2024 US presidential elections. The petition which is aggressively being pushed by Musk, asks people to support free speech and the right to bear arms.
The proclamation from Musk came while he was conducting a solo rally in Pennsylvania, urging people to vote for Trump. “One of the challenges we’re having is like, well, how do we get people to know about this petition? Because the legacy media is— won’t report on it,” Musk said at the Saturday event. ”You know, not everyone’s on X. So, I figure, how do we get people to know about it? Well, this news, I think, is going to really fly," he added.
Following the announcement, the billionaire reiterated his support for Trump’s bid for the White House. Musk managed to create a major spectacle after he immediately chose someone from the audience to be the first recipient of the prize. “The only thing we ask for the million dollars is that you be a spokesperson for the petition,” Musk told the awardee.
Democrats keep a close eye on the ‘Musk effect’
On Thursday, Musk started conducting the campaign events for Trump with his first event being held in Keystone State. In these events, Musk not only plans to pursue undecided voters to support Trump but will also try to garner support for his America PAC.
Musk’s active presence in the close presidential race is causing worries among the Democrats as well. Lawmakers like Sen. John Fetterman from the Democratic party have admitted that the entrepreneur is able to appeal to a demographic that Democrats struggle to reach.

It is pertinent to note that since the month of July, Musk has personally contributed at least $75 million to support Trump’s re-election bid through the PAC.
