Montana is a state in the mountainous part of the western United States. It is one of the largest states and, at the same time, one of the least-populated states.
Montana’s economy is primarily based on the extraction of natural resources, such as timber and minerals, and the vast outdoor tourism and sports industry. As jobs are relatively scarce, the state’s population is relatively older as much of the youth goes outside of the state for jobs.

Montana voted for Trump in the 2020 presidential election in 2020 and is considered to be a safe state for him again in 2024 election.
Trump has more than 99 per cent chances of winning Montana, according to Decision Desk HQ-Hill forecast.
Therefore, Montana is a deeply Republican state and is not a swing state at all. No surprises or tight race is expected here.
