Ukraine War: 3 killed as Russia attacks aid centre in Kherson

Three people were killed and at least eleven injured when Russian soldiers attacked a medical facility, an assistance centre, and residential areas in the southern and eastern regions of Ukraine, according to officials on Tuesday. Roman Mrochko, the head of the military administration of the city, stated on the messaging app Telegram that two persons were killed and two injured in the morning bombardment on the southern city of Kherson. According to Mrochko, a Russian projectile struck a medical facility, injuring four additional doctors. The International Rescue Committee reported in a statement that the humanitarian centre “I am Kherson” was attacked in a midnight missile strike on the city, destroying supplies of help. It stated that no staff members or guests were harmed. According to the General Prosecutor’s Office, Russian forces also launched a two-hour strike on the eastern border city of Chasiv Yar on Tuesday using the “Grad” multiple launch missile system. Five individuals were hurt, and a 50-year-old inhabitant passed away immediately from his wounds, the office reported on Telegram. Russia has denied intentionally targeting civilians throughout its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, which started in February 2022, despite the fact that Russian airstrikes have claimed thousands of lives all around the nation.
