Two people killed after a small aircraft crashed onto the terrace of a residential building in western Germany on Saturday, police reported.
The incident happened in Korschenbroich, close to Mönchengladbach and near the border with the Netherlands.
The plane struck the terrace, causing a fire to break out. Authorities confirmed that two people died, with one likely being the pilot of the aircraft, according to the German news agency dpa. It remains unclear whether the second victim was aboard the plane or was on the ground.
