US President Donald Trump clarified his stance on trade tariffs, saying that the US is “not looking at beating anyone” while talking about using tariffs on India to counter China.

His remarks come amid growing debates over the US trade war with Beijing.

PM Modi also expressed support for President Trump’s diplomatic efforts to bring peace to Ukraine. During his visit to Washington. PM Modi said, “I am happy that President Trump spoke to President Putin to ensure peace in Ukraine.”

“India is not neutral; our stand is to ensure peace. We support every effort for peace in Ukraine, and I support President Trump’s efforts,” he said while reaffirming India’s position.

PM Modi said there is a notion that India is neutral and said that India is not neutral but takes the side of peace while referring to the Ukraine conflict.

PM Modi said Donald Trump is synonymous with the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement and said just like the US President, who puts American interests first, he also prioritises India’s interests.

US President Donald Trump said PM Modi is doing a great job in India and calls him a great leader.
