US President Donald Trump celebrated six months into his second term, claiming the United States is now the “hottest” and “most respected country anywhere in the world.”

“Wow, time flies!” he posted on Truth Social Sunday morning (July 21).

“Today is that Sixth Month Anniversary of my Second Term. Importantly, it’s being hailed as one of the most consequential periods of any President.”

He noted that six months was “not a long time to have totally revived a major Country,” asserting that a year ago, “our Country was DEAD, with almost no hope of revival.”

“Today the USA is the ‘hottest’ and most respected Country anywhere in the World,” he continued. “Happy Anniversary!!!”

Trump’s approval ratings remain negative

Despite these claims, Trump’s six-month approval rating remains negative, with Decision Desk HQ reporting 52.7 per cent of US adults disapproving and 44.6 per cent approving.

The latest Economist/YouGov poll shows his disapproval at its highest since his second term began.

Trump, however, claimed his GOP support has risen “significantly, since the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax was exposed by the Radical Left Democrats and, just plain ‘troublemakers.’”

“They have hit 90 per cent, 92 per cent, 93 per cent, and 95 per cent, in various polls, and are all Republican Party records,” he stated on Truth Social.

“The General Election numbers are my highest, EVER! People like Strong Borders, and all of the many other things I have done. GOD BLESS AMERICA. MAGA!”

These remarks follow his directive to Attorney General Pam Bondi on Thursday to release grand jury files related to Jeffrey Epstein’s case, amid public demand for transparency. Trump remains doubtful that releasing the files will satisfy calls for more information.

Trump on Saturday stated that even if the courts approve their release, “nothing will be good enough for the troublemakers and radical left lunatics.”

“It will always be more, more, more. MAGA!” Trump posted.

The push to release Epstein-related files has intensified, with even some of Trump’s staunchest supporters joining critics in demanding transparency.

The post also came a day after Trump filed a defamation lawsuit against media mogul Rupert  Murdoch  and The Wall Street Journal, owned by Murdoch, over an article claiming Trump sent a “bawdy” letter for Epstein’s 50th birthday.
