In Operation Sindoor, Indian forces targeted 9 terrorist camps in Pakistan. This was in response to the devastating Pahalgam terror attack that led to the death of 26 tourists on April 22, sending shockwaves across India.
The 9 terror camps were run by Pakistan’s three prime terror groups: Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, and Hizbul Mujahideen. All of these groups have often been responsible for causing turbulence in the Indian territories.
Soon after the precision strikes, Pakistan started to spread false propaganda about the attack, claiming that civilians were killed in the incident. While India has rejected the claims, it also called out how some of the terrorists killed in Operation Sindoor were given a state funeral, with the army personnel paying respect to the notorious terrorists.
Here’s a look at some of the prime terrorists who were killed in Operation Sindoor, defence sources told Firstpost.
