Islamabad: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan today reiterated that a Taliban office should be opened in the country to facilitate peace talks but said action will be taken against militants if they refuse to obey the Constitution and parliament. Khan, whose party rules the restive Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province, was criticised by the media and analysts for saying that the banned Pakistani Taliban should be allowed to open an office. AFP[/caption] In an interview with a news channel, he said today a Taliban office should be opened and there should no pre-conditions for talks. Dialogue should be given a chance so that people in the tribal areas can see it for themselves, he said. However, if the Taliban refuse to obey the Constitution and parliament action will be taken against them, he said. The army and political parties are on the same page on the issue of holding talks with the Taliban, he claimed. PTI
