'Skimpily clad': Australian Islamic scholar sees Victoria's Secret models in victims of Hamas attack on Israel

The October 7 onslaught of Hamas against Israel is the worst attack the country has seen in years. While Israel is carrying out a ground offensive in Gaza in retaliation to Hamas’ attack last month, an Australian Islamic scholar Nassim Abdi has said that there were no “innocent victims” on October 7. “The media has used the term ‘innocent victims’ continuously. These were not innocent victims, they were people who were infuriating Palestinian people. They were people who were causing problems,  to provoke and oppress Palestinians,” Abdi said. He added that the people who died in the attack were the ones who chose to go back to Israel after World War II.

“Secondly, when it comes to innocent victims, you never hear them talking about men or soldiers. They always say, women and children. Which women did you see on the news? Did you see any ugly ones?” he asked. The Australian scholar then went on to say that the “victims of the October 7 attack looked like Victoria Secret’s supermodels.” He further asked how all the victims were beautiful women dressed in “skimpy” clothes. The scholar further asserted that Israel wants to show that women in the country are “beautiful and free” and that its values align with the West. Meanwhile, the families of nine Israeli victims of Hamas’ attack on October 7 have approached the International Criminal Court (ICC) alleging war crimes, their lawyer said Friday. In a statement, the lawyer Francois Zimeray, said that the families also want Hamas to be prosecuted for genocide and have asked the ICC to issue an international arrest warrant for its leaders. “The complaint concerns victims who were all civilians,” Zimeray said, adding that several of them were at the “Tribe of Nova” rave party — a music festival.
