“We are grateful to Tempe Police for coming quickly to the scene and are fortunate no one was present or injured,” Axios quoted Sean McEnerney, Arizona Democratic Party coordinated campaign manager, as saying.

Reports said that the Tempe police issued a statement on Tuesday saying that this was the second time criminal damage occurred at the Democratic campaign office.

“We can confirm that on 9/23/24, what appears to be damage from gunfire at … a DNC Campaign Office, was discovered,” NBC quoted the Tempe police as saying.

The police said another attempt was made on September 16, when the front windows of the office were shot with what appeared to be a BB or pellet gun just after midnight.
