Talk about supporting an ex-husband. Prince Andrew may have faced a lot of flak recently for being embroiled in an underage ‘sex slave’ scandal — but he can count on his ex-wife to back him by calling him ’the greatest man’. “He is the greatest man there is. It was the finest moment of my life in 1986 when I married him. He is a great man, the best in the world,” The Telegraph quotes her as saying. AFP[/caption] Prince Andrew was named by American Virginia Roberts in a lawsuit filed in America which claims that she was sexually abused by the Duke of York — claims that Buckingham Palace has vehemently denied. “It is emphatically denied that the Duke of York had any form of sexual contact or relationship with Virginia Roberts. Any claim to the contrary is false and without foundation,” Buckingham Palace said in a statement. The Duchess was divorced from the Duke in 1996 but still shares a home with him and said that their family is a “tight unit.” Prince Andrew has also “categorically denied” having any sexual contact with Miss Roberts or ever having sex with a minor. The allegations primarily involve billionaire Jeffrey Epstein — who pleaded guilty a few years ago to a charges of prostitution solicitation. According to reports, he began serving an 18-month sentence in 2008 and was also the subject of a federal investigation. The Duke and Epstein have been friends but the former has issued an apology for mingling with the billionaire. Click here to read the full report.
