Pune witnessed heavy rainfall on Tuesday faced severe flooding in multiple ares after just hours of heavy rain. Water flooded the exit gates of Pune International Airport, making it hard for vehicles to pass.
Pictures from the scene show cars with tires completely underwater and the area around the gate submerged. The flooding caused major problems for travelers and vehicles trying to leave the airport.
Passengers arriving in the morning had to walk through waterlogged areas, exposing weak infrastructure and drainage systems. The images highlight the extent of the flooding and raise concerns about how local officials handle such weather. Authorities are working to clear the water and bring things back to normal.
