President Mohamed Muizzu of the Maldives, attended the event as well. PM Modi was greeted ceremoniously with a 21-gun salute.
PM Modi landed in Maldives on Friday as a part of his second leg of the two-nation visit.
He received a welcome from President Muizzu and senior ministers from the government upon his arrival.
