7 October: A Kashmiri flower vendor rows his boat at the floating vegetable market on Dal lake in Srinagar, Kashmir. Vegetables traded in this floating market are supplied to Srinagar and many towns across the Kashmir valley. It’s one of the major sources of income for the lake dwellers who spend years carefully nurturing their floating gardens from the weed and rich soil extracted from the lake bed. 5 October: Bandmates participate in the funeral of Bryan Sandoval, a mudslide victim in Santa Catarina Pinula, on the outskirts of Guatemala City. Seven members of the Sandoval family were buried together after their bodies were found. Despair in the search for hundreds of people buried in a landslide that swallowed part of a Guatemalan town is so deep that some relatives feel lucky simply to have found the bodies of their loved ones. Families on Sunday lit candles for relatives engulfed by a mass of earth and rubble that crashed down on a neighborhood in Santa Catarina Pinula.
