Pakistan is now bracing for a possible Indian retaliation following the Pahalgam terror attack, in which Pakistani terrorists killed 26 innocent civilians, most of them tourists.

Pakistan’s actions are a clear sign that its leadership anticipated India’s response and was mentally prepared, given that its top military and intelligence agencies were involved in planning the attack.

New Delhi has alleged cross-border links to the massacre and has taken strong measures in response.

According to a report by India Today, Pakistan has taken multiple steps along the Line of Control (LoC) to closely monitor Indian military movements.

According to the report, the Pakistani Army is moving radar systems closer to the border in the Sialkot sector to detect any potential Indian airstrikes.
It is also deploying electronic warfare units near the Ferozepur sector to track Indian movements.

Pakistan has recently installed a TPS-77 radar at Chor Cantonment, just 58 km from the international border.

The TPS-77 is a powerful radar system used globally for tracking aerial activity and enhancing situational awareness.

The Resistance Front (TRF), a proxy group of Pakistan-backed Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), claimed responsibility for the attack.

With Prime Minister Narendra Modi promising to “identify, track and punish” every terrorist and their supporters, Pakistan is now cautious of a possible retaliation on Pakistan and its backed terror groups, who are killing innocent people.

Pakistani terrorist behind massacre was ex-special forces commando: report

Hashim Musa, the Pakistani terrorist behind the Pahalgam attack that killed 26 people—mostly tourists—was once a para commando in Pakistan’s special forces, The Times of India reported, citing investigators.

The findings confirm the direct role of the Pakistani Army and ISI in the attack, reinforcing India’s earlier claims of cross-border involvement.

Sources told TOI that Musa, now a top member of the Pakistan-based terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba, was sent to Jammu and Kashmir to target non-locals and security personnel.
