SEOUL (Reuters) - North Korean leader Kim Jong Un inspected the demonstration of a "new tactical guided weapon" on Thursday to warn South Korea from its continued adoption of high-tech weapons and joint military exercises, state media KCNA said on Friday.
North Korea test-fired two new short-range ballistic missiles on Thursday, South Korean officials said, its first missile test since its leader, Kim Jong Un, and U.S. President Donald Trump agreed to revive denuclearisation talks last month.
"We are forced to continue to develop super-powerful weapons systems to eliminate the potential and direct threats to our national security in the South," Kim said, according to KCNA.
