NATO Secretary General says looking for date for NATO talks | Reuters

WASHINGTON NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg agreed with U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson on Wednesday to look for a date that would allow all NATO allies to attend a ministerial meeting.

The State Department said on Tuesday Tillerson had proposed new dates for a NATO foreign ministers meeting, after he initially decided to skip the talks, which were set for April 5-6 in Brussels.

"We have agreed to look into how we can solve this scheduling issue, so whether it will be the original planned date or a new date that remains to be finally decided. But I'm absolutely certain that we will find a date which works for all of the allies," Stoltenberg told Reuters on the sidelines of a meeting to discuss the fight against Islamic State.
