Reaffirming India’s stance, Trump says, “India is not neutral; our stand is one to ensure peace. We support every effort to have peace in Ukraine, and I support President Trump’s efforts.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed support for US President Donald Trump’s diplomatic efforts to bring peace to Ukraine. During his visit to Washington. PM Modi said, “I am happy that President Trump spoke to President Putin to ensure peace in Ukraine.”

“India is not neutral; our stand is to ensure peace. We support every effort for peace in Ukraine, and I support President Trump’s efforts,” he said while reaffirming India’s position.

PM Modi said there is a notion that India is neutral and said that India is not neutral but takes the side of peace while referring to the Ukraine conflict.

PM Modi said Donald Trump is synonymous with the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement and said just like the US President, who puts American interests first, he also prioritises India’s interests.
