US Vice President JD Vance will travel to Europe on his first foreign trip since assuming office to attend the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Action Summit in Paris on February 10–11, a diplomatic source said to The Washington Post.
Vance will also visit Germany for the Munich Security Conference, The Washington Post reported.
France is hosting the Artificial Intelligence Action Summit on February 10–11 this year at the Grand Palais in Paris.
The summit is co-chaired by India, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also head to Paris to attend the event. After the summit, he will leave for Washington, where he is set to meet Donald Trump.
Similar events were previously held in the United Kingdom and South Korea in past years. These summits are aimed at fostering international dialogue and collaboration in the AI domain.
The Munich Security Conference will be held from February 13 to February 14, where discussions on topics ranging from democracy to climate change will take place.
