Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday demanded the total dismantling of Iran’s nuclear programme, emphasising that any future agreement must also curb Tehran’s ballistic missile capabilities.

Speaking in Jerusalem, Netanyahu stressed that Iran must be stripped of its ability to enrich uranium and insisted that missile restrictions be an integral part of any deal.

“You have to dismantle their nuclear infrastructure and that means … they will not have the capacity to enrich uranium,” he said in a speech in Jerusalem, adding that any deal should also “bring in the prevention of ballistic missiles”.
