In a joint statement, the Israel Police, Shin Bet, and Israel Defence Forces (IDF) revealed that on Monday night, Israeli security forces killed three terrorists during an operation to apprehend a guy who was wanted in the Samaria town of Ikhtaba. Shin Bet is Israel’s anti-terror General Security Service. After the three terrorists attempted to flee and an exchange of gunfire broke out between the terrorists and the security forces, the undercover agents killed the three armed terrorists who were attempting to break free. One of the terrorists was struck by gunfire from Israeli forces as he attempted to escape and was eventually apprehended. He was found in possession of an M16 assault rifle. (With agency inputs)
