The commander of Hamas’ Sabra-Tel al-Hawa battalion, Mustafa Dalul has been eliminated by Israel Defense Forces (IDF) during overnight operations. “IDF and ISA (Israel Securities Authority) forces eliminated a Hamas battalion commander during overnight operations,” IDF said in a post on X (formerly Twitter). According to the IDF, Dalul “directed combat against IDF and held key positions in Hamas’ Gaza City Brigade.” “Our ground, aerial and naval forces continue to operate to eliminate Hamas’ chain of command and terrorist capabilities,” IDF said. IDF said, during the overnight operations in the Gaza Strip, fighter jets, combat helicopters and artillery, directed by infantry forces of the Nahal Brigade, struck and killed several Hamas terrorists. Meanwhile, troops of the 551st Brigade located weapons — assault rifles, submachine guns, grenades, explosive devices, RPGs and ammunition, as well as intelligence materials — maps and communication equipment, during searches in Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza. The Israel-Hamas war entered its 28th day on Thursday (November 3, 2023). Around 9,000 Palestinians have been killed since 7 October. In the occupied West Bank, more than 130 Palestinians have been killed in violence and Israeli raids.
