Even as news emerges that two ballistic ‘objects’ were detected over the Mediterranean in a joint test by Israel and the USA, Russia is emerging as the unofficial mouthpiece for Syria in times of crisis, and many countries have started putting out statements denying involvement or knowledge of the possible missile strikes.
