CAIRO (Reuters) - Islamic State on Wednesday claimed responsibility for an attack on the convoy of the Nigerian governor of northeastern Borno state, according to the group's Amaq news agency.
The group said at least 42 people were killed in Tuesday's attack. Sources told Reuters the death toll was between 3 and 10 people, though an unknown number of others were beheaded.
