Cheering crowds gathered Monday night on the street in a residential area just south of downtown Cleveland, near the home where Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michele Knight, three women who have been missing for a decade, were found.
Charles Ramsey, the man who rescued the three women when he called the police, may have been a hero to the three women but his description of why his suspicions were aroused was anything but serious.
The video of him describing the incident to a journalist has gone viral because of well... his choice of words.
According to Ramsay, he became suspicious when "a little pretty white girl ran into a black man’s arms."
"Something is wrong here. Dead giveaway," Ramsey told the interviewer animatedly.
Describing the man who held the three women as a very normal guy, an Ramsay however, said that he told a neighbour that the abductor "got some big testicles to pull this off."
Ramsay told the journalist that he had known the man for around a year.
"I barbecued with this dude, we eat ribs and what not, listen to salsa music,” he said.
Ramsay's account, though hilarious, shows how the abductor managed to lead a normal life in a suburban neighbourhood despite holding these women hostage.
Here is the video of Ramsay's interview:
