Following the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7 and Israel’s subsequent military incursion in Gaza, tensions between Israel and Lebanon have escalated significantly. Hezbollah, a group supported by Iran in Lebanon, has started firing drones, missiles, and mortars into Israel; Israel has responded, according to CNN.

As fears grow that another full-fledged conflict may break out, tens of thousands of people have fled to both sides of the mountainous border.
