The Army official also emphasised the need to uphold the 2021 agreement between the Directors General of Military Operations (DGsMO) to maintain peace along the LoC.

The Indian Army’s Rising Star Corps confirmed the operation, stating that based on intelligence, multiple surveillance and ambush teams were deployed in Panjtirthi, Kathua.
