Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Thursday issued a non-bailable arrest warrant (NBW) against Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan after he failed to appear before it in a contempt of court case. [caption id=“attachment_4135651” align=“alignleft” width=“389”]

The PTI is set to challenge the warrants in the Islamabad High Court. On 14 September, the ECP had issued a bailable arrest warrant against Khan following his failure to show up for the proceedings, which were later suspended by the court on the PTI’s petition.
