IDF captures key Hamas posts, kills 150 terrorists; thousands of Palestinians flee Gaza's north 

Israel Defence Forces (IDF) said that it has captured key Hamas posts in Gaza City and killed at least 150 terrorists. IDF aircraft struck a series of terrorist targets belonging to Hezbollah in Lebanon. These targets include terrorist infrastructure & military posts, weapons depots and intelligence infrastructure.

The military specified that the 401st Brigade led an assault on the Bader outpost, identified as the primary outpost of Hamas’s Al-Shati Refugee Camp Battalion. This outpost is situated near civilian homes adjacent to the refugee camp. The operation involved the destruction of military headquarters and rocket launching sites during the raid on the Bader post. Shifa Hospital in Gaza City is being evacuated on orders from the IDF, which has surrounded the compound where Hamas is suspected to have established a key command center underneath, as reported by The Wall Street Journal, citing a source familiar with the situation. The hospital experienced at least one explosion on Friday as Israeli forces approached the location, and it remains unclear who was responsible for the blast. According to the Hamas-run health ministry, between 50,000 and 60,000 people, including 2,500 patients, had sought shelter inside and around the hospital grounds. Thousands of Palestinians are fleeing northern Gaza as Israel’s military pushed deeper into dense urban neighbourhoods in its battle with Hamas militants. Officials in the besieged enclave said the Palestinian death toll has surpassed 11,000 people. The search for safety in Gaza is growing more desperate as combat intensifies. Residents who escaped to the south and Palestinian health officials reported strikes in and around Gaza City’s main hospital overnight.
