H1B visa masterclass with top immigration attorney Cyrus Mehta
H1B masterclass with top immigration attorney Cyrus Mehta after Donald Trump signs off on new executive order targeting fraud and abuse of temporary visas.
After Donald Trump signed an executive order that further tightens the screws and turns the heat on H1Bs with special mention to it throughout the text, we caught up with noted immigration lawyer Cyrus Mehta in New York and asked him questions that Firstpost readers sent in and also got him to explain some of the more bandied around data and terms of this hot button visa that's being relentlessly hammered on multiple flanks.
In this conversation, Mehta speaks on H1B, H4, corp to corp arrangements, some common grey areas and answers questions from readers. This is not legal advice from Mehta's law firm but an effort by Firstpost to get a more nuanced grip of where H1B workers really stand today and if anything has changed significantly.
