On Sunday, Hamas declared that one of the four individuals slain in an IDF raid was its commander in the West Bank.
The individual is identified as Hamas’s al-Qassim forces’ West Bank commander, Alaa Shreiteh (45). Shreiteh was previously imprisoned in Israel from 2002 to 2016.
On Saturday, the IDF and Hamas engaged in gunfire at Daryl al-Ghusun.
According to IDF, there was a twelve-hour gun battle in the Tulkarem area of the West Bank between its forces and Hamas terrorists in which four Hamas terrorists were killed.
However, the identity of Alaa Shreiteh was revealed by the al-Qassim brigade early on Sunday.
