France's President Macron calls special parliamentary session | Reuters

PARIS France's President Emmanuel Macron has called a special parliamentary session for both houses on July 3, the president of the Senate said on Wednesday.

Convening a joint session of parliament - known as a Congress - at Versailles, the palace of France's former monarchy, is a rare procedure generally reserved for constitutional revisions and major presidential speeches.
