France's Fillon would not make runoff vote in presidential elections - Ifop poll | Reuters

PARIS French conservative presidential candidate Francois Fillon, embroiled in a scandal over payments made to his wife, will not make it into a runoff vote for the presidency in May, a poll showed on Friday.Far-right leader Marine Le Pen would meet centrist independent Emmanuel Macron in the May 7 ballot and he would defeat her, taking 63 percent of the vote to her 37 percent, the Ifop Fiducial poll said.
