Peshawar: Four Pakistan Taliban militants were killed today in a gun-battle with security forces in the country’s restive northwestern tribal region bordering Afghanistan. Militants belonging to Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) clashed with security forces in Malik Shiga village in Jamrud Tehsil of Khyber Agency in which four terrorists were gunned down, officials said. The authorities have handed over a list of 70 wanted extremists to the tribal elders. Meanwhile, some unidentified attackers shot dead three suspected militants while they were riding on a motorcycle in Jani Khel area of Bannu district in Khyber Pakthunkhwa. The three were facing terrorism charges and wanted in several cases. PTI
