In the vicinity of the popular Turkish resort of Bodrum, a Russian model Irina Dvizova, 42, and her 15-year-old daughter Dayana were found dead, wrapped in sheets and showing signs of murder. The bodies were found ten feet apart, bound with rope, triggering an international manhunt for the suspect, 45-year-old Andrey Kuslevich, who according to reports has been identified as an ex-husband of the woman. A police video captures the retrieval of the victims, prompting the search of Kuslevich, Irina’s ex-husband and former security guard for a Ukrainian businessman. The investigation suggests a potential motive related to a custody dispute over Irina’s son, Makar. In June, she sought court intervention in Moscow to restrict Kuslevich’s access to the boy, who is now missing. CCTV footage tracking the victims’ car led authorities to the hillside where the bodies were discarded, both bearing gunshot wounds. Kuslevich, a Lithuanian citizen, is the subject of an international search, with Turkish police seeking Interpol’s assistance. The mother and daughter were reported missing when friends and relatives were unable to reach them, prompting a visit to their Bodrum villa where blood was found on the sofa and apparent male footprints. Irina, a mother of three and former model turned estate agent in Bodrum, was accompanied by her daughter Dayana, a TikToker aspiring to follow in her mother’s modeling footsteps. The 15-year-old had recently posted a video announcing their trip to Istanbul to celebrate her birthday. According to reports, Kuslevich, Irina’s second husband, had a troubled past, having escaped custody in Russia after an arrest for alleged theft. Reports indicate he was involved in bullying and assaulting Irina. The elder son, David, 20, shared that his mother prohibited communication between him and Makar. Despite the tragic events, he expressed no awareness of any distressing thoughts in his mother before their last conversation on Thursday. Russian diplomats in Turkey are coordinating with local law enforcement to address the tragic deaths of Irina and Dayana.
