When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. Literally.
Five-year-old Na’ama Uzan from Toronto took the meaning of motivational stories and entrepreneurship to another level when she raised over $25,000 for the treatment of her brother’s neurological disability by selling lemonade stand.
Moreover, Uzan managed to raise the money in about a year as she started her lemonade stand last spring. Her stand also sells muffins and pastries, according to CTV News .
If this wasn’t enough to melt your heart and restore your faith in humanity, Uzan’s efforts have also inspired other people to raise money in support of finding a cure for Angelman Syndrome, which Uzan’s seven-year-old brother Nadav suffers from.
The rare disability disorder made it difficult for Nadav to walk and speak. The boy also suffers from frequent seizures.
“I’m doing it because I want to support a cure for Angelman Syndrome,” Uzan said.
