When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. Literally. [caption id=“attachment_2196182” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] Representational image. Reuters[/caption] Five-year-old Na’ama Uzan from Toronto took the meaning of motivational stories and entrepreneurship to another level when she raised over $25,000 for the treatment of her brother’s neurological disability by selling lemonade stand. Moreover, Uzan managed to raise the money in about a year as she started her lemonade stand last spring. Her stand also sells muffins and pastries, according to
CTV News. If this wasn’t enough to melt your heart and restore your faith in humanity, Uzan’s efforts have also inspired other people to raise money in support of finding a cure for Angelman Syndrome, which Uzan’s seven-year-old brother Nadav suffers from. The rare disability disorder made it difficult for Nadav to walk and speak. The boy also suffers from frequent seizures. “I’m doing it because I want to support a cure for Angelman Syndrome,” Uzan said.
