Fifty-four civilians killed in air strikes in Iraq, Syria: US military | Reuters

WASHINGTON The U.S.-led coalition killed fifty-four civilians between March 31 and Oct. 22 while carrying out air strikes against Islamic State targets in Iraq and Syria, the U.S. military said in a statement on Thursday.In one particular strike in mid-July, near the Syrian city of Manbij, up to 24 civilians were killed, the statement said.

This brings the total number of civilians killed by the Coalition to 173 since strikes started in 2014.
