EXCLUSIVE Khalistani Gurcharan who poured cow urine on Tricolour arrested, but for previous hate crime; released on bail

Speculation has been rife for the past couple of days over the identity of the Khalistan extremist whisked away by police from in front of India’s London embassy after a protest. Firstpost has confirmed that it was none other than Gurcharan Singh, the man who desecrated the Tricolour and poured cow urine over it. Highly-placed sources told Firstpost that Gurcharan, a leader of pro-Khalistan Dal Khalsa UK, was, in fact, not just ushered away from the protest by the police, but was arrested. According to sources, he was later released on bail on a personal bond at around 8pm UK time. The Indian community is livid, however, since Singh, sources said, was not arrested for the October 2 protest where he insulted the Tricolour and delivered a hate speech, but was booked for an earlier hate crime wherein on March 22 he had threatened a Gujarati man with slaps and called for the total annihilation of “cow urine drinking” Gujaratis. The entire incident had been caught on camera. The victim, a Gujarati Hindu in London, was passing by a pro-Khalistan protest organised against India in the aftermath of the crackdown on another Khalistani element Amritpal Singh. Brandishing a Khalistan flag, Singh had threatened: “You Gujaratis need to listen carefully. Run away, or I will slap you. If you want to have Langar, have it quietly and leave. Your cow urine-drinking community has created a lot of drama. Tell every Gujarati. If the war starts, this time, we will fight in Gujarat. We will fight inside your house. Now go and drink cow urine.” WATCH: Khalistan extremist Gurcharan Singh abuses, threatens a Gujarati in London

This is not the first time that Gurcharan Singh has hit the headlines for the wrong reasons. He has been seen fraternising with the likes of Paramjit Singh ‘Pamma’, designated as a terrorist by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and who is on the premier agency’s ‘most wanted’ list. On October 2, the two were again seen together in the protest outside the Indian High Commission in London abusing and insulting the Tricolour.
