A passenger plane carrying 62 people has crashed in Brazil. The plane belonged to the Voepass airline.
All passengers and crew members in the plane have died, according to AFP.
The CNN reported that the crash took place on the outskirts of Sao Paulo in Brazil.
In a video of the plane shared by the Daily Mail, the plane is seen spiralling and falling out of the sky.
In a statement posted on Facebook, the Voepass confirmed that flight 2283 - PS-VPB was involved in an accident.
The Voepass said the aircraft took off from Cascavel in Parana province and was going to Guarulhos Airport.
“Voepass has activated all means to support those involved. There is still no confirmation of how the accident occurred or the current condition of the people on board. The company is providing information to all its passengers, family members and employees by calling 0800 9419712, available 24 hours a day,” said the airline in the statement in Portuguese.
The CNN also reported that its Brazil affiliate has seen a video showing the plane in flames upon hitting the ground.
