Bombing in Turkish capital kills 18, injures 45 - official | Reuters

ISTANBUL Eighteen people were killed and 45 injured by an explosion in the administrative heart of Turkey's capital Ankara on Wednesday, an interior ministry official told Reuters.

A vehicle laden with explosives detonated as military buses passed near the armed forces' headquarters, parliament and government buildings during the height of evening rush hour, an attack the Turkish military said was an act of terrorism.
