'He was the best kid in middle school': Watch how a judge realises the burglary accused was her classmate

Mindy Glazer and Arthur Booth were classmates in middle school, they played football together. And when they were reunited unexpectedly in a Miami courtroom where Glazer was the judge and Booth was a burglary accused, it was an emotional scene. A video of the encounter has since become viral.

The video shows Booth appearing before Glazer in orange prison clothes. When Glazer asks him if he went to Nautilus Middle School, Booth first smiles after recognising the judge. Booth is then seen breaking down saying, "Oh my goodness," as judge Blazer talks about their childhood.

"I am sorry to see you here. I had always wondered what happened to you Sir," Glazer says adding that she remembers playing football with him.

"This is the nicest kid in middle school. He was the best kid in middle school," Glazer tells the courtroom.

And as Booth continues to cry, judge Glazer says, "What is sad is how old we have become," bringing a smile to his face.

In the end she wishes him good luck and says, "I hope you are able to come out of this okay and lead a lawful life."
