American Airlines flight evacuated after making emergency landing

Tulsa, Oklahoma: An American Airlines jet has been evacuated after it made an emergency landing at Tulsa International Airport following a report of fumes in the cockpit. Tulsa Airport Authority spokeswoman Alexis Higgins says the plane, which was traveling to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport was evacuated on the runway at about 6:15 p.m. Monday. Reuters[/caption] Higgins says none of the 67 passengers or crew members was injured. She did not know what caused the fumes in the cockpit, and referred questions to the airline.
