A day after Israeli strikes on the village of Hebbariyeh in southern Lebanon killed seven people, Hezbollah on Wednesday said that it launched dozens of rockets at Israeli town of Kiryet Shmona.
According to a Times of Israel report, citing the Magen David Adom ambulance service, a 25-year-old man has been declared dead after being pulled out of a building in Kiryat Shmona’s industrial zone. One person is being treated for injuries after being pulled out of an industrial building, added the report.
The Fire and Rescue Services says it is working to extinguish a fire at the structure in Kiryat Shmona’s industrial zone, which suffered a direct rocket strike.
Reports indicate that the injured person is in serious or critical condition after being pulled from rubble in the workshop.
Another man in his 30s, was rescued unharmed from the damaged building, the report added.
Meanwhile, according to a Times of Israel report, IDF confirmed a barrage of at least 30 rockets from Lebanon at the northern city of Kiryat Shmona.

On Tuesday, Israeli air strikes near two towns in northeast Lebanon killed three Hezbollah militants, the group posted on Telegram. Israel confirmed those strikes.
The Israeli strikes appeared to be aimed at the Islamist group’s emergency and relief centre in the village, the sources said.
Israel and Hezbollah have been trading fire across the border since the Israel-Hamas war erupted in Gaza, in the biggest escalation since a month-long conflict between them in 2006.
